Currently John Donovan is serving as the Scientific Director, BioResources for Cambridge Healthtech Associates (CHA) led projects.

Dr. Donovan has more than 30 years experience working as a veterinarian in biomedical research and is board certified by the American College of Laboratory Animal Medicine.  After seven years in the US Army’s Medical Research and Development Command, he spent 10 years at the National Institutes of Health, becoming the Director of the National Cancer Institute’s Office of Laboratory Animal Science.  John began his career in the pharmaceutical industry in 1994 , and since then he has served in senior laboratory animal resource positions for several top-10 pharmaceutical companies until his recent retirement.
