CHA collaborative projects
“Groups are remarkably smart, smarter even sometimes than the smartest people in them.”
- James Surowiecki, author of Wisdom of Crowds

CHA projects are six-month collaborations that bring together peers at different companies to work together in a facilitated and pre-competitive forum.  Throughout the six-months participants meet virtually and face-to-face through a well organized, iterative process to evaluate, design, and develop practical action plans that solve real-life challenges.  Six-month collaborations are led by CHA functional experts who are former operating managers at biopharmaceutical companies.

Participating companies derive two major benefits:

  • Dramatically reduces the overall risk (through cost sharing) of:
    • conducting due diligence in new, global markets
    • evaluating novel technologies
    • evaluating R&D facilities in various global markets
  • Gain greater insights and learning than addressing a challenge as an individual company by leveraging the “wisdom of crowds." This is due to the breadth and diversity of information and perspective of the group, and can complement your organization’s current understanding and perspective of a current R&D challenge.
