Cambridge Healthtech Associates has extensive experience in performing collaborative research projects on a global scale, and has been actively pursuing such projects with a specific emphasis on China and India for more than two years. Most recently CHA completed a 6-month long China-specific project assessing the feasibility of conducting preclinical toxicology work in China. This collaborative project was performed for 7 large pharmaceutical companies, and involved the mapping of preclinical toxicology capabilities in China across more than 60 institutions and service providers, as well as on-site assessment visits accompanies by project clients at the leading 10 of these institutions. In addition, CHA is the author of the best selling industry report entitled
Globalization of Drug Development: China
published in 2006 and based upon both primary and on-the-ground research. This recent experience in conducting feasibility studies in China within the R&D space makes CHA uniquely capable of executing this current project on leveraging biomarker and translational research in China.
