This project is led by
Andrew Branca, Senior Vice President, Strategic Research
. Andrew has ten years' experience in providing strategic business analysis and consulting to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and drug discovery technology companies. He is a highly sought consultant to major pharmaceutical companies and a frequent speaker at industry events. Prior to joining Cambridge Healthtech, Andrew was Director of the Breakthrough Technologies service at Decision Resources. In this role, he evaluated the strategic and scientific promise and the market potential of emerging drug discovery technologies. Andrew received his graduate education in Molecular Biology at Harvard University. He also holds a BA from Binghamton University and a JD from the Hofstra University School of Law.
Dr. Guido Grentzmann
is serving as the
Scientific Director
on this project. Dr. Grentzmann has more than 15 years of experience in conducting and directing research in drug discovery, translational and molecular biology as well as data-integration in respiratory, inflammation and infectious diseases. Dr. Grentzmann has also had responsibilities spanning the establishment and running of expression profiling platforms, as well as the initiation and management of pharmaco-omics projects from both clinical and pharmacological studies, including study protocols, site selection, ethics, contracts, and IP. Prior to teaming with CHA, Dr. Grentzmann was the director of Biochemistry and Genoprofiling at Altana Pharma in Waltham MA. Before joining Altana, he spent 5 years at Parke-Davis (now Pfizer), where he held a number of positions in the area of translational biology.

. Eric is CHA’s Director of Global Development, and leads CHA’s strategic advisory services focused on emerging regions, including China and India. Dr. Bush, former Head of the Non-Clinical Drug Safety Department of Hoffman-La Roche, is CHA’s Vice President and Scientific Director and leads the company’s advisory services in drug safety.
