Ernie Bush, Ph.D., Vice President & Scientific Director
Dr. Bush has spent over 23 years working in the field of biomedical R&D most of which working in preclinical safety departments for major pharmaceutical companies. From 1992 to 2005 he worked at Hoffmann-La Roche, Inc. and for the last 5 years of that time he led their Non-Clinical Drug Safety Department. This department of approximately 120 members was comprised of the following functional groups: Drug Metabolism, Non-Clinical Pharmacokinetics, Bioanalytical, Toxicology (including Safety Pharmacology and Teratology), and Pathology. The scope of their responsibilities spanned from early Discovery support through to NDA with particular emphasis on providing an integrated safety assessment to projects across all phases of Discovery and Development. His in-depth knowledge and broad experience in both the informatics and safety assessment fields has made him a unique leader in today’s complex drug development landscape. Eric Meyers, Vice President, Global Initiatives & Project Director
Eric Meyers is project leader for CHA’s multi-company, collaborative projects with focus on China, India and other emerging markets. Eric is the also the author of the best selling industry reports Globalization of Drug Development: China and Globalization of Drug Development: India and is a frequent visitor of both countries.

Mr. Meyers joined the Cambridge Healthtech Associates from 3rd Millennium, Inc., a leading informatics consultancy to the biopharmaceutical industry. As Chief Operating Officer from 1999 to 2005, he helped the company achieve market leadership, successful service line extensions, and sustained profitability. His functional responsibilities included strategic planning, project management, third party relationships, organizational development and human resources. Prior to 3rd Millennium, Eric was Vice President of Marketing and Sales at HealthShare Technology, a venture-backed healthcare software company acquired by WebMD. Prior to HealthShare Technology, Eric spent seven years at Hewlett-Packard where he held various management positions in operations, product management, and market development of its medical products business unit.
